How we choose stories
A story must concern a documented legal development: who acted, what changed, which people or companies are affected, and the procedural stage reached. We distinguish allegations, investigations, first-instance judgments, appeals, adopted laws and measures awaiting implementation. We choose stories for their relevance to this remit.
Articles are prepared with AI assistance, using GPT-6 Luna drafts and editorial source checks. They are reporting and analysis, not personalised legal advice. Publication dates, development dates and source-check dates are separate. A source-check date does not imply an older event happened again. Our analysis is labelled.
Links and ownership
The publisher operates other websites. Their existence does not determine which events we cover. Articles are not commissioned to create an opportunity to link to them. This edition contains no links to the publisher’s other sites. External links identify evidence, reporting and directly relevant context; their number follows the story. They do not imply endorsement.
Historical addresses and dates
Historical material appears at the end of the front page and report index. Country pages describe a particular national law, case or policy development. Former document addresses provide clearly labelled, topic-specific notes with links to original sources. These are new accounts, not recovered copies of the former publisher’s work.
The prominent historical date identifies the underlying event, a file date or a document year. An unknown day or month is left unspecified. The publication and source-check dates identify when our new account was prepared. A historical URL becomes indexable only after its replacement contains substantial, sourced material matching the topic. Duplicate PDF notes and unrevised background or previous-coverage pages remain excluded from indexing.
Corrections
Submit a correction with the article’s URL, the passage and a reliable supporting source. The source ledger records the material used for the current edition and historical accounts.
